Four people drowned in the Nizhny Novgorod region over the week.

      July 20, 2026 10:56 Incidents Over the past week, five incidents on the water have been registered in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations. As a result, four people died, and one was rescued. Rescuers urge residents to exercise caution while relaxing near water bodies. They particularly ask to pay attention to children and not to leave them unattended. It should be noted that since the beginning of 2026, four children have drowned in Nizhny Novgorod water bodies.
