The reconstruction of the tram tracks in Nizhny Novgorod has been completed by 78%.

      July 17, 2026 07:30 Society In Nizhny Novgorod, the update of the tram infrastructure continues. As of today, 117 out of 149.3 kilometers of single track have been reconstructed. This was reported by the NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" from LLC "Ecological Projects." Work is being carried out on Nadezhda Suslova Street, General Ivliev Street, Zeleny Spusk, as well as on the section from May 1 Park to Ak sakov Street. In addition, reconstruction continues on the section between Socgorod-1 and Socgorod-2, Maslyakova Street, and on the stretch from Komsomolskaya Square to Dubki Park. All work on updating the tram tracks is planned to be completed in 2027. Recall that the project to modernize the city's tram infrastructure started in 2022.
