      Recall that on the evening of July 5, traffic was halted due to strong winds and bad weather. Several cabins were suspended over the river. At that moment, there were 16 people on the line, including four children. Rescuers arrived at the scene and evacuated the passengers after some time.

      The Investigative Committee has begun an investigation into the incident. The circumstances of the incident are also being examined by the prosecutor's office.

      The Nizhny Novgorod cable car has not yet resumed operations. Passengers are advised to use alternative transport - suburban buses on intermunicipal routes and suburban electric trains.
