      In the working settlement of Vyyezdnoye in the city district of Arzamas, a five-year-old girl died. The structures of the building under construction could not withstand the strong hurricane winds that struck the district. Fire and rescue units arrived at the scene without delay. According to the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations, rescuers conducted debris removal operations to search for the child. Eleven people and three units of equipment were involved in the work. Unfortunately, the girl sustained injuries incompatible with life and died at the scene. The Investigative Committee of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region has opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence"). The investigation is under special control by the leadership of the regional Investigative Committee. The Prosecutor's Office of the Nizhny Novgorod region has taken control of establishing all the circumstances of the tragedy. The city prosecutor of Arzamas visited the scene. The agency will also monitor the progress and results of the criminal investigation. Alexander Shchelokov, head of the Arzamas district, expressed condolences to the parents and relatives of the deceased child.
