An interactive map of gasoline availability at gas stations will be launched in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
July 4, 2026 18:57 Society An interactive map is being prepared in the Nizhny Novgorod region to help motorists track the availability of gasoline at gas stations. This was announced by the governor of the region, Gleb Nikitin, on his MAX channel. According to him, over the past three days, supplies of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline to the region's gas stations have decreased by 25%, while demand has increased by 60-70%. It is precisely due to the reduction in supplies and the surge in demand that a sharp fuel shortage has arisen. Nikitin reported that to stabilize the situation, regional authorities are working with the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Energy of Russia, and the leadership of the largest fuel suppliers. The work is aimed at increasing supply volumes and restoring the balance between demand and supply at gas stations.
"An interactive map of gasoline availability at gas stations is being prepared, where drivers will also be able to report the presence or absence of queues. This will help motorists navigate the market, choose gas stations that are stocked with fuel, and reduce waiting times," the governor said.
The regional head emphasized that public transport, ambulances, utility vehicles, and other life-support services are being supplied with fuel in the necessary volumes. In addition, on Monday, Gleb Nikitin will hold an operational headquarters regarding the gasoline situation. If by that time supplies cannot be balanced, the authorities will take additional measures, which the governor will announce separately. It was previously reported that Vladimir Putin signed a law aimed at supporting the domestic fuel market. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has channels on Telegram and MAX.
