Counterfeit cheese found in the Nizhny Novgorod region

      On July 1, 2026, at 11:15, the Society of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the Republics of Mari El and Mordovia declared the declarations for dairy products from a Nizhny Novgorod manufacturer invalid due to identified violations. This was reported by the press service of the agency.

      The declaration of conformity issued to LLC "Production and Packaging Company" was revoked due to violations. They were identified during the analysis of the data of the component "Sirano" in the Federal State Information System "VetIS". Specialists found that part of the dairy products produced by the enterprise does not meet the declared quality and safety requirements.

      According to the results of laboratory tests, the cheese "Russian" (GOST 32260-2013, fat content in dry matter 50%, block) was found to contain vegetable oils and fats of vegetable origin. This contradicts the requirements of the Technical Regulation of the Customs Union TR TS 033/2013 "On the safety of milk and dairy products" and TR TS 021/2011 "On the safety of food products."

      On June 25, based on the identified signs of falsification, the declaration of conformity of the enterprise was declared invalid. The manufacturer was warned about the inadmissibility of violations of mandatory legal requirements.
