      On July 1, 2026, at 11:27, Society Subscribers of MegaFon have received the opportunity to specify their name during outgoing calls. The operator was the first to launch the "Number Signature" service, opening up technology that was previously available only to businesses for private individuals. The principle of operation is similar to the solution for legal entities: a "business card" with the name appears on the screen of the receiving call, and the call ceases to be unknown.

      The problem of low conversion of anonymous calls is widespread: according to analysts from MegaFon, between 30% and 75% of calls from numbers not saved in the phone book and without a signature go unanswered. At the same time, 92% of surveyed Russians positively assessed the practice of labeling incoming calls from legal entities* — it helps in the moment to decide whether to answer or not.

      You can connect the new service in your personal account or mobile app in the "Call Management" section. The cost will be 3 rubles per day regardless of the number of calls made, with the system automatically using the full name specified in the contract as the signature.

      "Voice spam and mass dialing have seriously undermined people's trust in phone calls — this problem has already reached the level of government attention, and today regulators are consistently forming rules to restore transparency in telephone communication. The service is also relevant for those who have recently changed their number: while the contact is not saved in the phone books, the risk of the call being ignored is particularly high.       The technical implementation allows the signature to be displayed on most smartphone models that support VoLTE. Currently, the signature works for calls to MegaFon subscribers; in the near future, the technology will be scaled to other operators. If the contact is already saved in the phone book, the phone will show the familiar name — thus preserving the user experience.
