The electric vessel "Peterhof" (project "Moscow 2.0") has started its sightseeing routes in Nizhny Novgorod, with the launch taking place on June 29. According to the Minister of Tourism and Fisheries of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Sergey Yakovlev, the development of tourist routes is an important element of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality." He called the vessel's entry into service a significant event: now even more residents and guests of the city can enjoy the Volga shores, the panoramas of the historical center, and sunsets from the water. The electric vessel is designed for 140 passengers, with a speed of 15 km/h: this pace allows for a comfortable one-and-a-half-hour cruise. The special feature of "Peterhof" is the restaurant on board: during the voyage, passengers can taste dishes of Russian cuisine. Yuri Kulikov, General Director of JSC "Vodokhod. Passenger Port," noted that the company is focusing on an eco-friendly fleet. According to him, for Nizhny Novgorod, which has a rich historical and architectural heritage, it is especially relevant to develop river transport that does not harm the environment. "Peterhof" is the next step after the successful launch of the electric catamaran "Ekohod." The company's leader is confident that the combination of picturesque views, a restaurant, and smooth sailing will make trips on the new vessel one of the main experiences of the season.

"Peterhof" continues the lineup of vessels from the "Moscow 2.0" project, which also operates in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Passengers can expect panoramic lounges, open decks, and a restaurant, while the electric power plant will ensure quiet and smooth sailing. All vessels in the series have been named after iconic historical and cultural sites in Russia.
