      On June 26, 2026, at 18:59, Society In Nizhny Novgorod, a new venue for off-site marriage registration was opened - the summer courtyard of the Sirotkin House. This was reported by the Main Department of the Registry Office of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The first ceremony at the new location took place on June 25. Here, Dmitry Rukavishnikov and Lyubov Krestyaninova registered their marriage. The newlyweds were congratulated by the head of the regional registry office, Olga Krasnova. According to her, the agency aims to provide Nizhny Novgorod residents with a wide selection of venues for holding ceremonial events that cater to various preferences.

      "The opening of the summer courtyard of the Sirotkin House is a response to the growing demand for off-site registrations in open venues during the summer season. We are confident that the park will become one of the best and most popular options for starting a family," noted Olga Krasnova.

      The new venue is located in the historical center of the city. The open-air space combines an architectural ensemble and a blooming garden, creating a special atmosphere for wedding ceremonies. Marriage registration in the summer courtyard will be available during the warm season - from May to September. Applications can be submitted through the State Services portal or in person at the Nizhny Novgorod and Zarechny marriage registration offices. It should be noted that in April, the first off-site marriage ceremony took place at the Architect's House. Other venues available for registration include the Ferris wheel "NiNo," the "Switzerland" park, the bell tower of the Kremlin's Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral, the Sirotkin estate, the Shalyapin hall of the Nizhny Novgorod Choral College named after L.K. Sivukhin, and others. The agency reminded that earlier, the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, declared the years 2025-2030 as the Family Five-Year Plan in the region. Efforts to stabilize the demographic situation are being carried out within the framework of the national project "Family."
