      June 27, 2026 07:00 Society Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region Gleb Nikitin congratulated the residents of the region on Youth Day, emphasizing the importance of the energy, courage, and creative freedom of the young generation for the development of the region. In his address, the head of the region noted that youth is a special state of soul, characterized by a thirst for discoveries and an unconventional view of the world. The governor expressed hope that the energy of young people would be directed towards creation and strengthening the key areas of life in the region—science and education, culture and medicine, economy and industry. One example of the active participation of young specialists in the development of the region he mentioned is the world-class IT campus "NEIMARK." According to the head of the region, it should become a point of attraction for students, specialists, and entrepreneurs interested in the development of the IT sector. Gleb Nikitin noted that a system of opportunities for implementing youth initiatives is being formed in the region. Today, a comprehensive ecosystem for talent support is in place, thanks to which Nizhny Novgorod Region is becoming an intellectual hub. Thus, the Council of Young Scientists, together with the Nizhny Novgorod Scientific and Educational Center, promotes the professional development of novice researchers. In addition, the network of youth centers in the region has been expanded, and updated and new spaces in municipalities are becoming places of attraction for volunteers, artists, musicians, and community activists. The head of the region emphasized that the future is shaped by bold ideas, intellect, and the willingness of young people to take responsibility. "Dare, try, make mistakes, and move forward again.
