This was stated in an interview with NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the head of Nizhgorodstat, Dmitry Maslo. According to him, one of the priority tasks is to increase the timeliness of official statistical information while maintaining its reliability. This will be achieved through the development of a unified digital space and more active use of alternative data sources that allow for faster information retrieval. Furthermore, in the future, technologies of artificial intelligence are planned to be used for processing large data sets. This is expected to accelerate the formation of a number of key socio-economic indicators by about 1.5 times.
