The engine failed on the "Superjet" that arrived from Nizhny Novgorod to Moscow.

      On June 24, 2026, at 19:13, Incidents: A "Superjet" that arrived from Nizhny Novgorod at Sheremetyevo experienced an engine failure. This was reported by the Telegram channel SHOT. According to them, immediately after landing, the crew received a signal about increased engine vibration. As a result, a decision was made to shut down one engine, and the plane proceeded to the parking area with one operational engine. Later, damage to the brackets securing the high-pressure turbine clearance control system pipelines was discovered on the aircraft. About 35 minutes prior, a similar incident occurred with another "Superjet" from the same airline. The plane was preparing for departure from Moscow to Kazan, but during taxiing, the crew noticed strong engine vibration. The commander decided to stop the movement towards the runway and return to the parking area with one operational power unit. There were 79 passengers on board, and none of them were injured. Both aircraft have been temporarily grounded. It is worth noting that on the night and morning of June 24, restrictions on operations were imposed three times at the Nizhny Novgorod airport.
