Nizhny Novgorod schoolchildren went on vacation to Anapa instead of "Artek".
June 25, 2026 10:25 Society A part of the Nizhny Novgorod schoolchildren who went to the International Children's Center "Artek" and could not attend the shift will continue their summer vacation in Anapa. This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the Ministry of Education of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
Recall that in Crimea, the acceptance and placement of children in summer camps is suspended until September 1. The corresponding decision was signed on June 22 by the head of the republic, Sergey Aksyonov, noting that the measure is aimed at ensuring public safety.
According to the regional quota, 29 young residents of the region were supposed to participate in the shift "The Art of Creation." However, due to the temporary suspension of children's recreation and health improvement in the Republic of Crimea, the further route for each child was considered individually.
In agreement with the parents, some schoolchildren were transferred to Anapa. They are now already resting in one of the children's camps in the city.
The remaining children will be transported back to the Nizhny Novgorod region in the near future. The issue of organizing alternative recreation for them will be resolved separately with each family.
As noted by the ministry, the selection of Nizhny Novgorod schoolchildren for subsequent shifts at "Artek" has not yet been conducted.
"As for the summer health campaign in the Nizhny Novgorod region, all organizations for children's recreation and health improvement continue to operate as usual. The main priorities for specialists working with children remain the safety and health of the kids," the ministry added.
Earlier, it was reported that more than 67 kilometers of roads to children's recreation places will be updated in the Nizhny Novgorod region in 2026.
