Nina Zvereva explained why psychologists contribute to women's loneliness.

      On June 24, 2026, at 20:00 Society, well-known TV presenter and communication coach Nina Zvereva expressed concern that modern approaches to psychology and personal life analysis, such as the search for childhood traumas and an emphasis on toxicity, may negatively impact women's relationships and contribute to their loneliness. She discussed this in the podcast "Lepta" on the platform 360.ru.

      Zvereva noted that some women, after prolonged communication with psychologists, begin to consider themselves exceptional and stop seeking compromises in relationships. They come to the conclusion that if they are so good, they cannot find a worthy partner. At the same time, the number of women who accuse their loved ones of violating personal boundaries and label them as toxic is increasing.

      "This digging into childhood leads to people refusing to communicate with their parents," she clarified.

      In the speaker's opinion, all of this leads to loneliness. In Moscow, according to her, 52% of women are single, which raises concerns. The coach emphasizes that she is not criticizing the profession of psychology as a whole but is drawing attention to specific working methods. She believes that a good specialist should listen carefully to the client and ask questions that help them view the situation from a new perspective.

      Nina Zvereva claims that specialists who reduce all problems to childhood grievances can cause more harm than good.

      Priest Nikolai Konyukhov, who also participated in the discussion, noted that during confessions, he often encounters people who want to change not themselves but their loved ones. According to him, such requests are rare, and most people come with a desire to change their partner rather than work on themselves.
