Gasoline in the Nizhny Novgorod region has risen in price by more than two rubles in a week.

      June 25, 2026 15:16 Economy In the Nizhny Novgorod region, gasoline and diesel prices have increased over the week. However, their level still remains below the national average, according to Rosstat data. Overall, across the country, from June 15 to June 22, price increases were recorded in 78 regions. On average, the price of fuel rose by 2.09 rubles—from 69.11 rubles to 71.2 rubles per liter. The leaders in terms of growth rates were Dagestan (+16.5%) and Chechnya (+15.2%). In the Nizhny Novgorod region, the average fuel price increased by 3.35% over the week, or by 2.28 rubles. If on June 15 gasoline cost an average of 68.04 rubles per liter, by June 22 the price had risen to 70.32 rubles. The least increase was seen in AI-98 and above—from 93.72 to 94.27 rubles (up by 0.55 rubles), while diesel fuel saw the highest increase—from 76.18 to 79.13 rubles, which is 2.95 rubles more. AI-92 rose from 64.46 to 66.44 rubles per liter, an increase of 1.98 rubles. AI-95 increased from 69.63 to 72.21 rubles (up by 2.58 rubles). Earlier, Governor Gleb Nikitin reported that the region is sufficiently supplied with gasoline and diesel fuel and urged residents to refuel only when absolutely necessary.
