A digital analytical statistics platform will be implemented in Russia in 2027.
On June 25, 2026, at 15:32 Society In Russia, the implementation of a Digital Analytical Platform (DAP) is planned, which will integrate all processes of statistical production—from planning observations to disseminating final data. This was reported in an interview with NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the head of Nizhny Novgorod Statistics, Dmitry Maslo. According to him, currently, all statistical reporting is provided exclusively in electronic form. This has significantly accelerated the processing of information and the timelines for publishing final data. Modern digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and other devices, are actively used in the work of statistical authorities. For example, during the agricultural micro-census of 2021, satellite images were used to verify information. As Dmitry Maslo noted, the DAP will create a unified information space for statistical authorities, respondents, and data users. The full-scale launch of the platform is scheduled for 2027, while some of its elements are already being used in practical work, including in interactions with respondents who violate reporting discipline. It was previously reported that official statistics in Russia will begin to be published 1.5 times faster. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has channels on Telegram and MAX.
