Gleb Nikitin reported that the Nizhny Novgorod Region is currently supplied with gasoline and diesel fuel in the necessary volume. Specific volumes and delivery schedules have been agreed upon for both Lukoil gas stations and independent operators, including in municipalities where the company does not have filling stations. Supplies have been increased in response to the rising demand, which has caused queues and restrictions at several gas stations. Currently, the governor emphasized, there are no grounds for panic. The regional head held an operational headquarters with the heads of relevant government departments of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. As a result, a number of measures were adopted to normalize the situation. Restrictions at certain gas stations were introduced by their owners and were related to logistics and the rapid increase in demand. Regional authorities intend to assist in resolving these issues. Specific decisions have been made for the agricultural sector with an emphasis on supporting farmers and small producers. A limit of 280 tons of fuel per day has been set for the regional Ministry of Agriculture. Large enterprises will work directly with refineries, while smaller ones will be able to purchase fuel from intermediaries without prepayment and speculative markups. According to Gleb Nikitin, all municipalities in the region are currently supplied with fuel. The governor also visited the Lukoil gas station on Rodionova Street in Nizhny Novgorod and spoke with employees. There is a restriction at the gas station: 30 liters of gasoline or 60 liters of diesel are allowed per person. As the regional head noted, the panic demand is decreasing. Gleb Nikitin added that the region's fuel supply is under constant control and urged residents to refuel according to their actual needs to stabilize the market situation as soon as possible.
