Nizhny Novgorod coaches will receive additional payments for mentoring.

      The government of the Nizhny Novgorod region has made changes to the rules for the payment of wages to employees of state budgetary and autonomous institutions in the field of sports and additional education. The resolution has been published on the portal for the official publication of legal acts.

      One of the key innovations is the payment for mentoring to coach-teachers. This payment can be received by coach-teachers who are officially appointed as mentors for new colleagues with their written consent.

      The amount of this payment will be up to 20% of the minimum salary or rate and will be assigned for a period of no more than one year. The procedure for mentoring will be established by the institutions through their internal documents.

      In addition, the incentive payments for work intensity have been clarified. One-time bonuses are provided for the personal participation of an employee in ensuring a quality educational and training process.

      For example, if at least 90% of students successfully pass the control transfer standards for additional sports training programs, the payment may be up to 30% for the group.

      For each student who receives a sports rank, an additional payment of up to 5% is provided.

      If at the initial training stage at least 90% of the contingent is maintained, the amount of the payment may reach 100% for the group.

      Each institution determines the list of employees entitled to such payments independently.
