Nizhny Novgorod residents were reminded of the rules for assisting passengers in the metro.

      June 24, 2026 13:23 Society Nizhny Novgorod residents were informed about the rules for providing first aid in the metro after an emergency that occurred on the morning of June 23. The information was published by the Telegram channel "MetroNN."

      Let us remind you that train movement was halted during rush hour due to a person falling onto the tracks. It later turned out that a girl felt unwell while exiting the train at the "Chkalovskaya" station.

      Metro staff and rescuers provided emergency assistance to the injured, and she was hospitalized with moderate injuries. Train movement in the metro was resumed within 30 minutes.

      Residents were reminded: if someone feels unwell in the carriage, passengers should press the emergency button "Contact with the driver" and report the carriage number. According to the instructions, a metro employee must call for doctors to the nearest station. Until then, it is recommended to start providing first aid.

      In cases where a person feels unwell at the station itself, witnesses should contact the duty officer or a police officer in the metro, or use the emergency button.

      During the time before the arrival of doctors, staff can provide first aid. It is also advised not to leave the injured person alone.
