Members of the deputy association "United Russia" reviewed 834 appeals from Nizhny Novgorod residents.

      On June 23, 2026, at 15:50 Society At the regular meeting of the party's active members held on June 23, the head of the "United Russia" deputy group in the City Duma, Evgeny Kostin, reported on the results of work for the first six months of the year. The meeting was chaired by him with the participation of the Duma speaker Evgeny Chintsov, the head of the regional executive committee of the party Dmitry Filipenko, as well as representatives of the city administration. During the reporting period, five meetings of the group were held, during which parliamentarians considered more than thirty agenda items. The deputies supported 139 draft resolutions of the Duma, addressing key aspects of the socio-economic development of the regional center. The focus was on the implementation of national and federal projects, as well as reports on the activities of the city head and the representative body itself for the past year. Special emphasis was placed on legislative activity. Members of the group approved the adoption of regulatory acts in the areas of budget and tax policy, municipal control, landscaping, housing stock, infrastructure development, and civil society. In addition, the deputies proposed initiatives for sending humanitarian aid to residents of new Russian regions and providing material support to participants in the special military operation. The parliamentarians kept an eye on issues related to monitoring the implementation of the governor's project "It's Up to You!", the development of the institute of social precinct officers, encouraging talented youth, and supporting legislative initiatives of the Youth Chamber at the Duma. Throughout the six months, the deputies actively participated in federal and party events, including the forums "Small Homeland - Strength of Russia" and "There is a Result!", conferences, community clean-up days, charity events, and international cooperation projects with cities in Belarus. A key area of the group's work became interaction with voters. Over six months, 303 receptions of citizens were held at the Regional Public Reception of the party, during which 834 appeals were considered. As Evgeny Kostin noted, a positive solution was found for 580 of them. All deputies reported to the residents of their districts on their work for 2025. The meeting also discussed the upcoming session of the City Duma, which includes 35 agenda items. Dmitry Filipenko, in turn, presented to his colleagues the results of the preliminary electronic voting for the nomination of candidates from the party in the elections to the regional parliament and the State Duma.
