      The section of Zvezdinka Street from Gorky Square to Alekseevskaya Street, stretching over a kilometer, is being repaired as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life." This was reported by the head of Nizhny Novgorod, Yuri Shalabaev, on his Telegram channel. According to him, the contractor started work on the site at the end of May. The milling of the old surface is almost complete, the replacement of manhole covers has been done by a third, and the curbs on the road and sidewalks are fifty percent ready. New asphalt is currently being laid. Major work involving heavy machinery is being carried out in the evenings and at night to avoid disruptions. The contractor is on schedule, and the rains this week have not affected the plans. Shalabaev added that the overall readiness percentage of all roads being repaired this year under the national project is approaching fifty. The first site on Kuzbasskaya Street will soon be completed.
