      A conscript from the Nizhny Novgorod region managed to have his contract with the Ministry of Defense canceled. An inspection revealed that the document was issued with violations, and the order for his appointment was recognized as unrealized. This was reported by the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Nizhny Novgorod region, Oksana Kislytsina.

      The young man was undergoing training to work with drones in a neighboring region, where he and other conscripts were offered to sign papers "for enrollment in courses." After returning to his unit, he saw a large deposit in his account and learned about a transfer to another division, from which it became clear that he had effectively been registered as a contractor. It turned out that the young man was not familiarized with the text of the contract and was not given a copy. The soldier's foster parents contacted the unit's command, who recognized the document as invalid and promised to annul it. However, the issue remained unresolved for a long time. The family then submitted a complaint to the Commissioner for Human Rights, who sent a request to the military prosecutor's office. After the inspection, the appointment order was canceled as unrealized, and the Nizhny Novgorod resident continued to serve his conscription under the previous conditions.
