Vladimir Tuzhilin assessed the training of the reserve "BARS-NN"

      A new group of reservists "BARS-NN" has begun training for combat duty at a military training ground in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The training program includes practical exercises with portable anti-aircraft missile systems (MANPADS). The training was attended by Vladimir Tuzhilin, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. He spoke with the personnel and noted that the training of the reserve is reaching a new qualitative level, and the training program includes mastering modern weapons. According to him, the reservists who have completed their training are already applying the skills they have acquired at combat positions. The senior instructor for air defense training with the callsign "Akord" reported that classes are conducted, among other things, on modern simulators, with special attention paid to safety techniques. The reservists noted that training at the training ground is as close to real conditions as possible and includes studying tactics and providing medical assistance. Being part of the "BARS-NN" reserve does not involve deployment to the special military operation zone and takes place only within the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Recruitment is conducted on a voluntary basis through military commissariats of municipal formations by signing a contract with the Ministry of Defense of Russia through the commander of the military unit. The contract allows for combining primary employment with military training and drills. During the contract period, reservists are provided with monetary support, equipment, and uniforms. During the drills, their jobs and salaries are preserved, and they are provided with life and health insurance, medical assistance, and free meals. By the decree of Governor Gleb Nikitin, additional social support measures have been established for participants of the mobilization reserve "BARS-NN" and their families. Children are provided with free places in kindergartens, meals in schools, sports sections, extended day groups, and subsidized vouchers to camps and sanatoriums in the Nizhny Novgorod region. There is a priority right for transferring a child to a school near home, as well as free medical assistance out of turn within the framework of the State Guarantees Program for providing medical assistance to the population of the Nizhny Novgorod region for the current year.
