Photos from the Nizhny Novgorod airport, which received flights to Moscow, have been published.

      June 18, 2026 13:57 Society The dispersal of aircraft accepted at the Nizhny Novgorod airport as a backup began after the lifting of temporary restrictions. At the same time, specialists started to carry out the regular schedule. Footage from the scene was published by the press service of the international air harbor "Chkalov." Restrictions on the airport's operation were imposed at 02:25 and lifted at 12:00. During this period, two flights were canceled - to Moscow and Yekaterinburg.

      Today, "Chkalov" accepted a total of 28 flights heading to Moscow airports, which were temporarily closed due to a large-scale drone attack. Meanwhile, the drone danger regime continues to be in effect in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      Thanks to the coordinated work of all involved structures, the stop at the airport terminal remains under control, despite local queues in airline offices and cafes, the airport's press service reported.
