A drone with a warhead was found in the forest near Perevoz.

      On June 18, 2026, at 13:20, in the Pevezhsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, a fallen unmanned aerial vehicle was discovered, reported the municipal administration.

      Local residents found the UAV wreckage with a warhead in a forest belt near the road. The device was lying about 800 meters from the nearest settlement.

      After the discovery, emergency services arrived at the scene. Bomb disposal specialists removed the warhead from the drone and destroyed it in a nearby ravine.

      According to the administration, the UAV crash did not cause property damage and did not harm people. It is unknown when exactly the drone ended up in this area.

      Residents were reminded of safety rules when discovering drones or their parts. If found, it is necessary to report to emergency services and not approach the device or wreckage closer than 50 meters. It is also prohibited to touch, move, or attempt to disassemble the device, to neutralize it independently, and to allow children, animals, and outsiders near the discovery site.
