The "Code of Traditions" day will take place in Nizhny Novgorod on June 20.

      On June 20, in Nizhny Novgorod, a thematic day "Capital of Sunsets. Code of Traditions" will take place in Sverdlov Square from 12:00 to 20:00 as part of the musical multi-genre festival "Capital of Sunsets." The event is dedicated to the cultural diversity of the peoples of Russia, their traditions, and modern forms of creativity. A program with musical accompaniment, sports activities, workshops, and a fair of handmade products has been prepared for the residents and guests of the city. Music will be played on stage throughout the day. In the evening, there will be a program featuring DJs from the Creative Competencies Center "Height," as well as a performance by DJ NEFEDOV. In the park area, until 19:00, there will be games and sports activities, including giant Jenga, lapta, and table tennis. Jump ropes, badminton, and frisbees will be available, and there will also be an intensive strength warm-up for everyone interested. As part of the "Tea Workshop," participants will learn about tea traditions from different regions of Russia and create an author’s tea blend from herbs and plants of Altai, Siberia, and other territories of the country. A workshop on creating decorative phone accessories from beads, carabiners, ropes, and decorative fittings is also planned. In the second half of the day, tabletop games will be organized with the support of project partners. One of the central venues will be an ancient weaving loom. Guests will be able to work at it under the guidance of a master and learn about the traditions of hand weaving.

      Throughout the day, there will be a craft fair featuring products made of wood, ceramics, hand weaving, artistic painting, jewelry making, as well as items made of leather, glass, and other materials. The event is organized by the ANO "Center 800" with the support of the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
