Kabaylo explained the refusal of "Pari NN" to participate in the new season of the VTB United League.

      The Minister of Sports of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Dmitry Kabailo, commented on the decision of the basketball club "Pari NN" not to participate in the next season of the VTB United League. According to him, this step is due to financial circumstances and was made jointly by the club and regional authorities after a thorough analysis of the situation. As noted by the head of the regional sports ministry, financial difficulties have affected not only the team itself but also its partners and potential sponsors. However, the club structure will continue to operate: the youth team will retain its place in the VTB United Youth League.

      In the future, regional authorities plan to pay special attention to the development of mass and youth basketball. Key areas include the formation of a unified basketball system, support for free sections and competitions, training coaching staff, as well as interaction with municipalities and student groups.

      "We will focus on youth development, the implementation of youth sports projects, and increasing the number of people engaged in basketball," emphasized Dmitry Kabailo.

      The minister also stated that the possibility of "Pari NN" returning to the VTB United League in the future remains. According to him, this issue can be revisited after the economic situation improves.

      Recall that in May, the Center for Management and Development of Sports in the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the management of HC "Torpedo" decided to close the farm club "Torpedo-Gorky" for financial reasons. A year earlier, the women's hockey team was also closed.
