The reconstruction of Building 10 of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin into a museum will be completed in winter 2026.

      On June 18, 2026, 08:14 Culture and Recreation Renovation and restoration work in the 10th building of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin is planned to be completed this coming winter. This was reported by the Minister of Culture of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Natalia Sukhanova, on her page on VKontakte. According to her, a significant amount of work has already been completed on the installation of engineering communications at the site. In particular, electrical networks, ventilation and air conditioning systems, as well as low-voltage networks have been installed. In addition, the flooring has been completed in the building, and the readiness of the rough finishing of the premises has reached 80%. Specialists have also manufactured and installed more than 100 wooden windows. Entrance and internal doors have been installed in the building, and glass partitions have appeared in the part of the building designated for workspaces. Railings have been installed on the internal staircases. At the same time, builders have begun the finishing work on the restrooms.
