20 university students from Nizhny Novgorod received diplomas from the International Club.

      In Nizhny Novgorod, a solemn closing ceremony for the second season of the project "International Club of the Nizhny Novgorod Region" took place, initiated by the regional ministry of international and interregional relations. Diplomas for the successful completion of the program were awarded to 20 students from N.N. Lobachevsky Nizhny Novgorod State University, N.A. Dobrolyubov Nizhny Novgorod Linguistic University, K. Minin Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University, and graduates of the "School of Young Diplomats named after Y.E. Fokin." The documents were handed to the future specialists by the Minister of International and Interregional Relations of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Olga Guseva. "The project was conceived as a platform to unite active and goal-oriented students striving to develop international contacts in the region. Our goal is not only to provide basic knowledge but also to prepare qualified personnel capable of becoming part of the ministry's team in the future. Three graduates from the previous season are already successfully working in our department, demonstrating that the 'International Club' truly opens doors to professional activities," emphasized Olga Guseva. This year, the project attracted even more international attention. While there was one student from Egypt in the first season, the new cohort included students from Benin and Peru, significantly expanding cultural and professional exchange. During the second season of the "International Club," about 20 classes were held. Participants listened to lectures from leading experts in the field of international relations and attended meetings with foreign partners of the Nizhny Novgorod region. "This year was extremely eventful. The students were able to meet with the Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Nizhny Novgorod, Oleg Shvets, the Deputy Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Kazan, Cao Longquan, and the Honorary Consul of Russia, the Director of the Russian House in Trivandrum, Ratishe Nair. I would like to especially note that our participant Imoru Ibrahim conducted a lecture on the peculiarities of diplomatic protocol in his native Benin. Many students also became volunteers at the CIPR conference this year. I am confident that the knowledge and skills gained will serve as a reliable foundation for the further development of our graduates in the international sphere," added Olga Guseva. The project won the nomination "For Contribution to the Development and Popularization of the Profession" at the national award in the field of protocol and etiquette within the framework of the Protocol Summit-2025.
