      On June 16, 2026, at 12:14, Culture and Leisure: The restoration of the Koromyslovaya Tower continues at the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin. The work is expected to be completed in 2026, as reported to the website pravda-nn.ru by the Nizhny Novgorod Museum-Reserve.

      The work is being carried out under a contract with the company "Fregat." At this point, specialists have completed the restoration of the tower's interior spaces.

      In addition, approximately 70% of the installation of electrical networks, as well as security and fire alarm systems, has been completed. The next stage will be the restoration of the building's facades and roof repairs.

      After all the work is completed, a museum space is planned to be created in the Koromyslovaya Tower. The new venue will allow residents and guests of the city to learn more about the history of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin.

      According to the terms of the contract, the entire scope of work must be completed by October 30, 2026. The tasks include restoring masonry, structures, and decorative elements, as well as installing modern engineering systems without interfering with historically significant parts of the object.

      Earlier, the head of the branch of the museum "Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin," Stepan Petushin, reported on plans to restore other towers of the Kremlin. In the coming years, work is expected to take place on the Tainitskaya, Belaya, and Porokhovaya Towers.
