Two universities from Nizhny Novgorod have made it into the top hundred universities in Russia.

      Two universities from Nizhny Novgorod have once again made it into the top 100 best universities in Russia. The ranking was compiled by the RAEX agency.

      Nizhny Novgorod State University named after N.I. Lobachevsky took the 36th place. The previous year it was in 35th place, and in 2024 it was at 34th.

      The Privolzhsky Research Medical University showed positive dynamics and rose to 62nd place. The previous year, the university was in 67th position.

      The ranking was based on a comprehensive assessment. Experts considered the conditions created for obtaining quality education, the demand for graduates from employers, as well as the level of development of the research base.

      The leader of the list was Lomonosov Moscow State University. The second place was taken by Bauman Moscow State Technical University, and the third by the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.

      Saint Petersburg State University took fourth place. The top five was rounded out by the National Research Nuclear University "MEPhI."
