Scientists from NNSU have developed a calculator for predicting the region's economy.

      Scientists from the Lobachevsky Nizhny Novgorod State University Institute of Economics have created a digital forecasting calculator that allows for the assessment of the impact of various government support measures on the socio-economic development of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      The development is intended for use by relevant ministries and agencies. With its help, specialists will be able to model different scenarios for the region's economic development and assess the possible consequences of management decisions.

      The service is based on multi-level regression models. The calculations take into account indicators of gross regional product, as well as gross added value in key sectors of the economy, including industry, construction, trade, agriculture, and transport.

      The developers note that the system does not require special programming skills. To conduct calculations, the user only needs to adjust the necessary parameters using sliders, after which the program will automatically generate a forecast and show possible positive or negative development scenarios.

      A state certificate of registration for the computer program has already been obtained for the created digital tool.
