A woman died in a traffic accident involving a "turnover" in the Sokolsky district.

      On June 13, 2026, at 17:16, incidents occurred in the Sokolsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region on a suburban road where a fatal accident happened, reported the State Traffic Inspectorate. The tragedy occurred on Saturday, June 13, around 06:45 on the "Moshkino - Sokolskoye" highway. According to preliminary data, a 42-year-old woman driving a Mitsubishi Lancer lost control and hit the roadside. After that, the car was thrown into the oncoming lane, it went off the road and overturned. The passenger of the car, a 45-year-old woman, died at the scene before medical personnel arrived. The causes and circumstances of the accident are being clarified by the traffic police.
