The sale of alcohol will be restricted in Nizhny Novgorod on Russia Day.

      On June 11, 2026, at 16:09 Society In Nizhny Novgorod, the sale of alcohol will be temporarily restricted on June 12 due to festive events for Russia Day (0+). On this day, stores located near the celebration venues will not be able to sell alcoholic beverages. Such measures are provided for in paragraph 6 of Article 8 of the Nizhny Novgorod region law No. 74-Z dated June 29, 2012. The document regulates the circulation of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and alcohol-containing products in the region.
