Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Perevozsky" together with the youth traffic inspector squad and the squad leader Ekaterina Yaroslavtseva held a preventive campaign "We ride safely with SIM!". The event aimed to raise the level of road literacy among minors and prevent road traffic accidents involving users of individual mobility devices and two-wheeled transport. During the campaign, young traffic inspectors distributed thematic leaflets to children about the rules for safe management of bicycles, scooters, and individual mobility devices, as well as informational brochures with recommendations for complying with traffic rules. Special attention was paid by the organizers to the use of protective gear. Young assistants of the State Traffic Inspectorate demonstrated helmets, knee pads, and elbow pads to schoolchildren, explained the rules for their use, and described how protective equipment helps reduce the risk of injury during trips. The campaign also aimed to engage parents and legal guardians of minors in ensuring children's safety during the summer vacation period. Traffic inspectors and activists urged adults not to leave young "drivers" unattended on the streets and in yards, as well as to regularly hold discussions with them about the rules for safe use of individual mobility devices.
