Nizhny Novgorod's "Camelot" was forced to demolish unauthorized towers.

      The Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court ordered the owner of the "Camelot" restaurant building to demolish the structures that were illegally erected on municipal land. This was reported by the Unified Press Service of the Courts of General Jurisdiction of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The owner built two brick towers and one wooden pavilion on two adjacent plots. One of them is in municipal ownership and is intended for a roadway. The Lenin District Court previously denied the Nizhny Novgorod administration's claim, citing an improper expert conclusion, but the regional court established that the permitted use of the plot does not allow for the construction of such objects, and the structures pose a threat to the life and health of citizens. The district court's decision was overturned, and the constructions were recognized as unauthorized. The defendant is required to demolish them. Recall that earlier, an arrest prompted a resident of Nizhny Novgorod to stop evading fines.
