Dmitry Chernyshenko opened the VI International Tourism Forum "Travel!" at VDNH.

On June 10, 2026, at 13:17, Society Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko opened the VI International Tourism Forum "Travel!" and assessed its exhibition. This key industry event takes place from June 10 to 14 at VDNH in Moscow. The organizer of the International Tourism Forum "Travel!" is the Roscongress Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation.

The opening ceremony of the Forum began with a ceremonial parade of participants in the exhibition - regions of Russia, foreign countries, and participating companies. Along with the Deputy Prime Minister, the opening was attended by Dmitry Vakhryukov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, and Vladimir Zatynayko, Deputy Director of the Roscongress Foundation.

Dmitry Chernyshenko conveyed greetings from President Vladimir Putin to the guests, participants, and organizers of the forum. In his message, the Head of State noted that the Forum is yet another wonderful opportunity to reveal and demonstrate the vast potential of our regions in this area.

"It is important that travel in Russia is accessible, comfortable, and memorable; for this, we need to continue improving the tourist infrastructure, organizing routes wisely, making them interesting and convenient for people. In this work, coordination of efforts between the state, business circles, and regional authorities is especially necessary so that tourism becomes a profitable economic sector, brings additional income, helps create jobs, and preserves museums, architectural monuments, national parks, and reserves," Vladimir Putin noted in his greeting.

The Deputy Prime Minister thanked the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Roscongress Foundation, the Moscow City Hall, and personally Sergey Sobyanin, regional leaders, as well as participants in the opening parade of the Forum for their organization.

"Participants of the VI International Forum 'Travel!' - regions and companies - presented their best tourist products. And we have a unique chance to choose the trip of our dreams. What a vast country we have, and how many foreign guests have come to us!" added Dmitry Chernyshenko.

Dmitry Vakhryukov congratulated everyone on the opening of the Forum, wishing good results, fruitful activities, and new victories. "We have never had a forum of this scale before. Of course, there will be more to come. Huge thanks to everyone who responded to our invitations, to our friends from foreign countries; you have made an unprecedented feat today! By coming to Russia, you know for sure that there is potential here: both Russian tourism and Russian tourists are people we need to engage with. Ahead are several days of hard but very interesting work. So, let's get to work!" said the Deputy Minister.

"The Forum was created as a platform that unites the entire tourism ecosystem. Thanks to this format, one can see the entire journey of a tourist product: from the idea and creation of infrastructure to promoting the destination and choosing a route by a specific person. This is the main value of the Forum - it helps different participants in the tourism industry find each other, launch new projects, and develop tourism in Russia together," emphasized Vladimir Zatynayko, Deputy Director of the Roscongress Foundation and Director of the International Tourism Forum "Travel!"

The official tour also included Victoria Abramchenko, Deputy Chair of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Vakhryukov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Evgeny Kozlov, Chairman of the Moscow City Tourism Committee, and Vladimir Zatynayko, Deputy Director of the Roscongress Foundation.

In the thematic zone "Travel in Russia!" participants familiarized themselves with the exhibitions of Primorsky Krai, Kirov, Smolensk, and Sverdlovsk regions. Special attention was paid to issues of developing domestic tourism, interregional cooperation, and promoting new tourist destinations. The combined exhibition of the national tourist route "Golden Ring" included several regions, including Yaroslavl, Nizhny Novgorod, and Tver regions. At the stands of the subjects, the governors of Primorsky Krai Oleg Kozhemyako, Kirov region Alexander Sokolov, Yaroslavl region Mikhail Evraev, Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin, and Tver region Vitaly Korolev spoke.

In the international block of the "Relax!" zone, participants of the tour were presented with the tourist opportunities of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Abkhazia, the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the Republic of Cuba, the Republic of Nicaragua, and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister, along with other participants, assessed the exhibitions of the Ministry of Health of Russia, JSC "Caucasus.RF," the State Corporation "Rosatom," and Russian producers of tourist infrastructure. They also visited the "National Priorities" stand. It talks about auto tourism in Russia: for example, currently, the national tourist portal Travel.rf, which operates within the framework of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality," features more than 130 auto routes covering 67 regions of our country and including thousands of attractions, hotels, and road infrastructure facilities.
