The Commissioner for Entrepreneurs' Rights in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Pavel Solodky, commented during a press conference on June 10 about the launch of sales of Volga cars. Recall that car production was opened in Nizhny Novgorod, with sales set to start this month. Meanwhile, the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Gleb Nikitin, has already purchased a Volga K50 for himself. Solodky noted that the automotive industry, like several other sectors of the economy, is currently experiencing a downturn. At the same time, the business ombudsman expressed the opinion that new Volgas will be purchased by both private individuals and government agencies. When asked by journalists if he plans to buy a car for himself, Pavel Solodky replied negatively. He shared that he already owns a GAZ-21 "Volga" from 1965. The hood of the car features the coat of arms of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, and it has been exhibited several times at the Nizhny Novgorod Fair.
