Nizhny Novgorod residents have started undergoing comprehensive check-ups 10% more often.

June 10, 2026 12:54 Society Residents and guests of the Nizhny Novgorod region have become more attentive to their health. Since the beginning of the year, the number of requests for comprehensive examinations has increased by almost 10% compared to last year. About 76% of the total number of clients in the region are women. In addition, analysts from MegaFon and the INVITRO Index project noted a growing interest in Russian diagnostics from foreigners in a joint study. The residents of Arzamas and Vyksa are the most attentive to their bodies in the region, with traffic growth in these localities reaching 60% and 52%, respectively. The highest number of examinations is ordered by residents over the age of 57. This generation accounts for just over 22% of all visits to laboratories. Young people are also monitoring their health, which is why those aged 26 to 36 took the second spot in the ranking with a figure of 19.7%. Rounding out the top three are clients aged 37 to 46, with a share of 18.7%. The situation looks somewhat different online. People aged 35 to 44 prefer to study medical websites, making up 34% of the entire online audience of specialized platforms. Students and young people aged 18 to 24, on the other hand, visit such resources less frequently than others—their share barely reaches 2.5%. Women online also show greater activity: they are 69% more interested in diagnostics than men. According to the operator's statistics, people begin to pay increased attention to their health during the off-season. The first surge of interest in medical services is recorded in spring, when it is necessary to compensate for winter vitamin deficiency. The second wave occurs in autumn due to the seasonal increase in morbidity. Most users plan examinations on weekdays, which is why half of all internet traffic occurs from Monday to Wednesday. Foreign guests also actively visit the websites of medical companies. This year, users from Belarus, Turkey, China, Egypt, and Thailand most frequently sought information. They accounted for 60% of all foreign traffic on specialized sites. Notably, in 2025, the top five looked different: Turkey held the first position, followed by Belarus, Kazakhstan, the UAE, and Thailand. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has channels on Telegram and MAX.
