Nizhny Novgorod region received six awards at the competition.

      Nizhny Novgorod region won six awards at the International Creative Works Competition "I Will Tell the World About My Homeland." This year, the project gathered about 8,000 works from 89 regions of Russia and 66 friendly countries. The competition aims at patriotic education of children and youth, strengthening interethnic relations, and developing cross-cultural communications. It aligns with the objectives of the national project "Youth and Children." The winners of the competition included 62 representatives from 22 Russian regions and 18 foreign countries, among them participants from the Nizhny Novgorod region. In the nomination "Test Page-Presentation" in the age category from 7 to 10 years, first place was taken by Mikhail Vozyakov from School No. 47 in Nizhny Novgorod. In the category for those aged 15 and older, second place was awarded to student Ivan Otopkov from the Pavlovsk Automobile Mechanical College named after I.I. Lepse, with a presentation about the Gorky defensive line in the Pavlovsk district. In the special nomination for videos "The Heritage of My Small Homeland is the Heritage of Russia," a prize was awarded to Saveliy Lapshin, a student from School No. 127 in Nizhny Novgorod. In the special nomination "For the Preservation and Popularization of the Traditions of the Peoples of Russia," the winner was the team "Nizhny Novgorod Guys" from School No. 3 in Dzerzhinsk. In the special nomination for videos from the National Center "Russia," the best was recognized as the team from Kindergarten No. 417 in Nizhny Novgorod, which presented the action "Kind Heart." The best mentor of the competition was recognized as Natalia Yeroshkina, the director's advisor on education at the Pavlovsk Automobile Mechanical College named after I.I. Lepse. Under her guidance, 50 works were prepared for participation in the competition. The national project "Youth and Children" has been implemented on the instruction of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin since 2025. It includes nine federal projects and programs, including "Russia - a Country of Opportunities," "We Are Together," "Russia in the World," "All the Best for Children," "Leading Schools," "Teachers and Mentors," "Creating a Network of Modern Campuses," "Universities for the Generation of Leaders," and "Professionalism."
