      On the evening of June 4, 2026, the duty unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Bogorodsky" received information from a medical institution about a patient with multiple stab wounds. An investigative operational group was immediately dispatched to the scene. The police established that the victim sustained injuries as a result of a conflict with an acquaintance. The latter attacked the victim and began to stab him in the face, neck, and chest. Medical personnel recorded 8 stab wounds. At some point, the victim managed to grab the knife from his acquaintance and made his way to the hospital on his own. Police officers apprehended the suspect in the criminal act – a 32-year-old previously unconvicted resident of the Bogorodsky municipal district – shortly after the incident. He admitted his guilt. Currently, a preventive measure has been chosen for him – house arrest. Investigative authorities have opened a criminal case regarding this incident under the signs of a crime provided for by part 3 of article 30 and part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder). According to Russian legislation, the maximum penalty for the accused may be imprisonment for up to 10 years.
