Nizhny Novgorod residents were offered a mechanism to solve the parking shortage on Rodionova Street.

      On June 6, 2026, at 13:13, Society reported that on June 3, a meeting took place between the residents of house No. 11 on Rodionova Street and representatives of the Nizhny Novgorod district administration, dedicated to the issue of organizing parking spaces on the yard territory. This was reported by the Nizhny Novgorod mayor's office.

      Previously, residents noted that more than 400 people live in 254 apartments, while there are about 20 parking spaces available on the property. Additionally, the situation was complicated by the construction of the metro, after which the ability to use parking pockets along the parallel of Rodionova Street was lost. Cars left in unauthorized places began to incur fines.

      During the dialogue, the district administration proposed a phased mechanism for solving the problem. Residents were recommended to organize work within the framework of the resolution on issuing permits for land use.

      It provides for the registration of a lease for the land plot of the TSN "Bastion" upon preparation of the necessary package of documents, including a site plan prepared by a cadastral engineer.

      Next, it is planned to conduct the procedure of land surveying for the plot, which is currently in municipal ownership, with subsequent registration of the land in the ownership of TSN "Bastion."

      After the registration of ownership rights, the association was invited to participate in a competition for receiving a subsidy for landscaping the territory - asphalting, widening driveways, installing curbs, and other works.

      The Nizhny Novgorod district administration is also ready to assist residents in collecting and processing documents and will continue to support the process.

      The parties to the meeting noted that the dialogue was "constructive and productive" in nature and agreed to maintain direct contact for further resolution of the issue.
