The court denied the Nizhny Novgorod resident's lawsuit against the telecom company "Seti NN" for 2,000,000 rubles.

      On June 5, 2026, at 10:45, Incidents The Nizhny Novgorod District Court reviewed a lawsuit from a Nizhny Novgorod resident against her relative and the telecommunications company "Seti-NN." The reason for the court appeal was the release of the program "By the Way" (16+), in which, according to the applicant, false and defamatory information about her was presented.

      The woman requested that this information be recognized as untrue, that her relative be obliged to publicly refute it on the same program, and that the telecommunications company provide airtime for this and remove the disputed fragments from the video recording of the segment.

      In addition, the plaintiff demanded compensation for moral damages from LLC "Seti-NN" in the amount of 2,000,000 rubles.

      After reviewing the case materials, the court concluded that the statements made in the television segment were true and did not harm the honor, dignity, and business reputation of the applicant.

      By the decision of June 2, 2026, the lawsuit was completely denied. The decision has not yet entered into legal force.
