T2 will expand the geography of VoLTE roaming to 48 countries in 2026.

      On June 5, 2026, at 11:53, T2, a Russian mobile operator, continues to develop VoLTE roaming in popular tourist and business destinations. Today, the technology is available to the company's clients in 23 foreign territories and in 30 networks of international operators, making T2 one of the leaders in the telecom market in terms of service coverage. By the end of 2026, the operator plans to nearly double the geography of the service. Currently, about 70,000 travelers abroad are benefiting from its advantages.

      The first country with international VoLTE support appeared in T2's network in February 2022, when the service launched in the USA. The large-scale development of the technology began in 2025: within a year, the company connected 18 foreign networks in countries across Asia, Europe, North and Central America. Today, the technology is available to T2 clients in 23 foreign territories. This makes the company one of the leaders in the geography of international VoLTE roaming among the "big four" operators.

      Today, T2's VoLTE roaming is available in the USA, Australia, Singapore, China, Vietnam, Macau, Switzerland, Iceland, Puerto Rico, Malaysia, Honduras, Sweden, Japan, Israel, Spain, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Mexico, Montenegro, Fiji, France, and Germany. In several countries, the technology operates in multiple networks of foreign operators. As of June this year, there are 30 such partner networks. T2 will continue to expand the geography of international VoLTE roaming and plans to connect about 25 more countries by the end of 2026, prioritizing popular destinations among Russian tourists.
