Ghostbusters defeated the poltergeist in Arzamas with the assistance of the authorities.

On June 5, 2026, at 12:16, Incidents. Representatives of the All-Russian organization NOZP ("Real Ghost Hunters") managed to neutralize a poltergeist in Arzamas. This was reported by "By the Way..." (16+).

Recall that the owner of a two-room apartment on the first floor encountered the paranormal phenomenon. According to her, for two years, someone has been overturning furniture, scattering plates, slamming doors, and breaking appliances. During this time, mirrors in cabinets, a refrigerator, and a television were broken in the apartment. There were also instances where the entity attacked the property owner, leaving bruises on her body.

A representative of NOZP stated that a group of four specialists was sent to Arzamas to verify the information. Video cameras with round-the-clock broadcasting were installed in the apartment. According to him, "unexplained activity" was recorded on two of them, but subsequently, the cameras disappeared one by one, and ultimately only one remained. As one of the organization's participants recounted, on the very first night after his arrival, loud banging was heard in the kitchen, "as if a cast-iron weight was being struck against the concrete floor."

Cans of lecho flew around the apartment, crashing against the walls in the corridor and kitchen, flower pots were overturned, and soil scattered throughout the apartment. This happened dozens, if not hundreds, of times. We observed the movement and flight of objects that raise questions regarding both the trajectory of flight and the origin of the objects themselves, the expert reported.

The organization emphasizes that they consider the poltergeist as a collective term for a complex of phenomena, each of which requires separate study—this is not about "spirits" or "demons." Among the possible explanations for what is happening, he mentioned the hypothesis of spontaneous psychokinesis, as well as factors related to the state of the person or the characteristics of the location.

And here lies a big question about whether this phenomenon has any rationality, any consciousness, the specialist wonders.

One of the researchers contacted the administration of Arzamas with written recommendations, pointing out potential risks—including the possibility of fires, injuries, and structural damage. According to him, the city authorities implemented the proposed measures, after which the complaints ceased, and phenomena in the apartment were no longer observed.

The poltergeist itself was named Flis. Its activity has now ceased, and the owner has begun renovating the apartment. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has channels on Telegram and MAX.
