Nizhny Novgorod's "Torpedo" has signed a contract with forward Daniil Seroukh.

28-year-old forward Daniil Seroukh has become a player for Nizhny Novgorod's Torpedo. The agreement is for two seasons.

A product of Omsk hockey, he has made a strong impression in the KHL since his debut and has established himself as the most prolific sniper for Sochi over the last two championships, accumulating 69 points (30+39).

Seroukh gained widespread recognition in the league after a match against Moscow's Dynamo, where he achieved the second pentatrick in KHL history. Previously, such a result had only been accomplished by one player, KHL president Alexei Morozov.

Daniil is a good example of the trendy word "self-made," which directly proves his challenging hockey journey. He is coming from the shores of the Black Sea to the banks of the Volga to win together with Torpedo. For this, he has all the necessary qualities and, most importantly, the right and honest attitude towards his profession, noted Torpedo's general director Evgeny Zabuga.

He wished the player to break the KHL scoring record while playing for the Nizhny Novgorod team.

Earlier, Zabuga announced the signing of not only Seroukh but also an experienced defender, likely Nikita Kamalov, as well as a North American right-handed defender who continues to compete in the Calder Cup semifinals.
