Ex-torpedo player Maxim Letunov will continue his career at Moscow's Dynamo.
Former forward of Nizhny Novgorod's "Torpedo," Maxim Letunov, has become a player for Moscow's "Dynamo." A two-season agreement has been signed with the hockey player.
Letunov returned to Russia in the fall of 2022 after playing in North America and signed a contract with "Torpedo." He spent four seasons with the Nizhny Novgorod team.
In the regular KHL championship for the 2025/2026 season, the 30-year-old forward played 60 matches, scoring 28 points (12 goals and 16 assists).
Overall, during his time in the KHL, Letunov participated in 285 games, recording 154 points (68+86) with a plus/minus rating of "+22."
Previously, "Torpedo" lost defenders Denis Alexandrov, Sergey Boykov, Mikhail Naumenko, as well as forwards Shane Prince and Dmitry Shevchenko. Vasily Atanasov was traded to SKA, while Anton Silaev went to play in North America, with his rights remaining with the Nizhny Novgorod club.
Additionally, Vladislav Firstov is likely to move to "Lokomotiv," and Yegor Sokolov intends to continue his career in one of the Moscow clubs. Both hockey players received qualifying offers from "Torpedo."
