Nizhny Novgorod employers can receive 200,000 rubles for positions for people with disabilities.

      June 4, 2026 14:46 Society Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs in the Nizhny Novgorod region can receive subsidies to reimburse costs for creating jobs for people with disabilities. The amount of compensation reaches 200,000 rubles for each employed employee. This was reported by the press service of the regional branch of the Social Fund of Russia. Payments are provided for the creation and equipping of workplaces for disabled persons of groups I and II, as well as for veterans of combat operations with any disability group. Since the beginning of 2025, 21 enterprises in the region have participated in the program. At these sites, 53 jobs have been created for people with disabilities. The total amount of compensations amounted to 8.2 million rubles. When organizing a workplace for an employee with a disability, their individual rehabilitation or habilitation program is taken into account, as well as recommendations for recovery after an industrial injury or occupational disease. It is important that the working conditions correspond to their duties. The employer can receive compensation for the purchase of basic and additional equipment, special furniture, and other technical means. The main condition is that the employee with a disability must be employed for at least nine months, and this must be specified in the employment contract. An application for a subsidy must be submitted within three months after signing the contract, attaching documents on incurred expenses. The employment service considers the application within 15 working days. If everything is in order, the money is transferred within ten days.
