The corresponding cooperation agreement was signed by the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, the secretary of the regional branch of the United Russia party, Gleb Nikitin, and the first deputy chairman of the board of Sberbank, Alexander Vedyakhin, at the XXIX St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on June 4, 2026. The key task of the project is to accelerate and make transparent the process of accreditation and employment of foreign citizens coming to work in Russia. The platform will unite all participants in a single digital framework: the employer, the applicant from abroad, the recruitment agency, and government bodies. The agreement provides for the creation of a comprehensive service covering all stages: visa processing, accreditation, employment, and adaptation of foreign workers. "The Nizhny Novgorod region is consistently building a systematic personnel policy. We hope that cooperation with Sber will create a convenient, transparent, and technological mechanism for attracting qualified specialists from abroad. I am convinced that this pilot project will become a working tool for business and strengthen the personnel potential of the region," noted Gleb Nikitin. "It is important that the issue of staff shortages in Russia is effectively addressed, including by attracting labor resources from other countries. This is in the interest of our economy and business. But at the heart of this process is the person who has moved, is looking for a job, and is preparing documents. We can make this path shorter and clearer with the help of a technological digital platform to maximize the benefits for Russian companies and simplify the employment process for foreign citizens," emphasized Alexander Vedyakhin, the first deputy chairman of the board of Sberbank.
