Nikita Shavin extended his contract with Nizhny Novgorod's "Torpedo".

      Nikita Shavin, a native of Knyaginino, will continue to play for "Torpedo." The club has signed a new unilateral agreement with the forward, valid until May 31, 2028. The player's previous contract was bilateral and was in effect until May 31, 2027. The 24-year-old forward is a product of the "Torpedo" system. He went through all stages of training in the club, became the champion of Russia, and has already played for the main team for four seasons. In the regular season 2025/2026, Shavin participated in 48 matches and scored 16 points. He was also called up to play for the farm club, where in 17 games he recorded 10 points.

      The position on Nikita is clear - with his attitude towards the work, he has earned a unilateral contract with an extension for another season, noted the general director of "Torpedo," Evgeny Zabuga.
